Look at the Stars

We live in a world of wonder.

The other night, I was taking out the trash and paused outside, looking at the sky above. Hundreds of pinpricks of light sparkling in the darkness. More stars than I can count. Stars, which are gigantic blazing balls of gas lightyears away, that are mere specks to my eyes–which can’t even see most of them.

It’s amazing, in the true meaning of the word. And it points to an even more amazing Creator.

God has made a world filled with wonder, and don’t loose your awe at His creation! Relish the foggy mornings, gasp at the brilliance of sunsets, soak up incredible details in the flowers, look at the stars.

Let that wonder fill your creative soul and move you toward awe and worship of our great God.

  1. I would say that you have loosed your awe in a lovely piece. 😉

One of my favorite characters in a particular book series (that shall, for the moment, remain unnamed), was one who had the power to make others feel awe. Although the author is a secular one, that character was a powerful witness for Christ, as true awe leads to Him!!
