Updates

Updates!

Hey all! Sorry about missing a few posts. But this time I have a good explanation!

First off, you probably know that I am doing Camp NaNoWriMo this April, which is just like regular NaNoWriMo, except that you get to create your own word count goal. Because I hadn’t really written for the past few months since I was focusing on finishing up some subjects in school, I originally had a goal of 15,000 words for the month, so 500 words a day. However, I found myself settling for this goal (which will be a topic of a post coming soon). On April 14th, I decided that I was crazy. I was going to try and do a full 50,000 words in April. I only had 6,424 words so far and only seventeen days left to write 43,576 words.

Currently, I am at 29,804 words, and I still have eight more days to pound out the rest. I really think that reaching 50,000 words by the end of April is possible. I’ve realized that setting goals really helps me to write better. But I’m not going to say anything more about that. Like I said, there’s going to be another post soon about all of that.

Second, I got accepted into the Young Writer Author program this Monday! The program is run by Brett Harris and Kara Swanson. It looks so cool! It basically college for people who want to be authors. I am super excited about it! Like seriously excited. It looks so cool.

And that’s about it! Just a few quick updates on what is happening in my little writing world! Has anything new or exciting happened in your writing world?

I hope you all are doing well. Until next time!
