What do I have to say?
I’ll be honest, this is a question I’ve been pondering when it comes to social media. Typically, I feel a pressure to be posting consistently. The algorithm will dislike me if I don’t post. Posting is how you connect with people. If I don’t post, people might forget about me.
But I don’t want to simply be adding to the noise.
It’s easy to put something together quick and schedule a post. But I don’t want to be posting because I feel like I have to. I don’t want to post empty words and burn myself out. I want to post if I have something to say, whether it be something more thoughtful or whether it be something fun. I want to be posting because I want to. I want to post something that you’ll enjoy, not simply more feed clutter.
Words matter, and time is finite. I don’t want to spend them on empty social media or blog posts.
How do you approach what and how often to post on social media or platform building?
