Dear creative,

Writing is hard. So many things make it so easy to *not* write. Sometimes the things making it hard to write are valid—there are simply reasons of life when you can’t write. But sometimes, you just have to do the hard work. Put away the distractions. Silence your phone. Sit in the chair. And write.

One word after another. They might be painstaking to write at first. But it will get easier. Eventually the words will start to flow.
